The Colorado Avalanche have named 19 year old Gabriel Landeskog team captain, according to ESPN. Having multiple players over the age of 30, wouldn't one of them suffice as captain? Isn't captain about leadership and experience? Though this is unprecedented, maybe it will work out for them. If not, I'm sure we'll hear alot of badmouthing toward coach Joe Sacco and the front office.
